Business Development Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Business Development Officer to join our wonderful team at Lutheran Care, Alice Springs in a full time capacity.

The aim of the Business Development Officer (BDO) role is to establish, maintain and grow new business partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally to satisfy and elevate the organisation’s position, value and community reach. These partnerships include (but are not limited to), expanding existing financial services, exploring NDIS possibilities and any other opportunities that arise.

The aims and objectives of this role are to:

  • Form partnerships across sectors and communities in NT to achieve business objectives, advance social equity and champion customer experience.
  • Work in partnership with the Senior Manager Central Australia and Executive Manager to reach the LC 2021-2024 Strategic Plan
  • Identify new and existing business or community impact opportunities to increase the revenue growth of the organisation.
  • Recognise and effectively create strong relationships that strengthen the position of the LC brand, services and people in the Central Australia marketplace.
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of competitor partnerships, community service initiatives, and market movement.
  • Expand organisations footprint in innovative ways.

Business Development Officer

  • Salaried position
  • Full Time 38 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
  • Contract Position – End date – 30/6/2023 (contract extensions based on funding)
  • The position is based in Alice Springs however location is negotiable for the right candidate. Regular travel to Alice Springs will be required if working remotely.
