About Family Zone

Lutheran Care’s Family Zone is a child and parenting centre based at Ingle Farm Primary School. The centre brings together a range of support programs for families.

Programs are designed to facilitate the physical, emotional, social and cognitive development of children aged zero to 12 in a familiar environment. Parents also feel at home, as they meet with others who are going through similar experiences.

A Broad Range Of Programs

We offer a broad range of programs at Family Zone to benefit children and young people and their families, and people in the broader community.

Programs include:

  • Playgroups
  • Conversational English group
  • Multicultural Women’s Group
  • Neurodiversity Support Group
  • Parenting courses (including Circle of Security)
  • Volunteer support/training.

Referrals are also available to other support services including:

  • Mental Health Social Worker
  • Men’s Support and/or Groups
  • Financial Counselling
  • Home Visitation.
Family Zone

You are welcome at Family Zone

We welcome all children and their families. Mums, dads, grandparents and other adult family members are encouraged to be involved.

When visiting at Family Zone, we will ask you to complete a registration form. When attending a program you may be asked to complete additional forms specific to the program.

Our staff are there to help you complete the forms if you need.  You can also choose to take the form home and bring it back the next week. All information you provide is confidential. We have strict procedures in place to ensure your privacy.
