We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Counsellor/Facilitator. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing a range of counselling and support services for children, with a primary focus on individual counselling. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in facilitation and community education sessions aimed at supporting families within our school community. This position encompasses a wide range of tasks, including reporting and administration, client services, stakeholder engagement, strategic management, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual counselling sessions with children to address their emotional, social, and mental well-being.
  • Develop and implement effective counselling strategies and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide guidance and support to families, offering facilitation and community education sessions to foster a collaborative and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counselling sessions and client progress, ensuring confidentiality and privacy are upheld.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and external agencies, to promote a holistic approach to support the well-being of children.
  • Engage in strategic planning and management, ensuring the effective implementation of counselling programs and services.
  • Foster open and transparent communication channels to promote a supportive and inclusive school community.
