Team Leader – Family & Community Services

Current programs include Homelessness and Housing, Community Connections, Community Hubs, Community Visitors Scheme, Elcies Disability Care, Emergency Relief, Financial Counselling, Family Support and Education and Foster Care.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Team Leader to join our  Barossa Valley office.

The Team Leader’s primary responsibility is for the coordination of day to day program operations and staff supervision of the Children’s Contact Service as well as provide oversight and staff supervision of a portfolio of services including the Community Connections, Community Partners and the Homelessness support programs.

The role will work in collaboration with the Operations Manager – Family and Community Services to oversee the day to day running of the allocated programs and ensure the needs of those contacting the service are appropriately assessed, and suitable internal or external referrals made.

The role is based in the beautiful Barossa Valley. 

The duties of this role include:

  • Ensure the delivery of high quality, client centered, strengths based services to families, delivered within the nominated model of therapeutic practice, trauma informed case coordination model when supporting clients.
  • Plan and monitor workloads to maintain a high standard of service and service delivery.
  • Lead and oversee the processes that support operational requirements ensuring legislative and contractual requirements are met.
  • Manage internal and external strategic projects to meet objective and timeframes.
  • Identify and develop key strategic and local relationship networks to achieve goals, and improve outcomes for clients and service delivery methods.
