We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity as a Team Leader in our Foster Care Specialist team, based in Warradale.

The Team Leader position entails portfolio responsibility for supporting approved foster families and assumes a crucial role within Foster Care Services. The primary objectives of this role are to provide effective leadership, support, input and guidance to our team of dedicated professionals, ensuring the provision of exceptional care to children and families in the foster care system.

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the integration of specialist services into the program, with a focus on building a skilled workforce capable of providing therapeutic support to families and children with complex needs. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders and facilitating communication between Foster Care Services and the disability sector. By establishing connections with the disability sector, assisting the organisation in providing services to children through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Key Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Setting direction priorities, goals and KPI accountability
  • Contributing to strategy and strategic and business planning.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain continuous quality improvement.
  • Identify trends and facilitate strategies that achieve LC outcomes.
  • Provide day-to-day management of work functions across the team including the approval of timesheets and leave applications
  • Encourage high performance and to work in alignment with contractual requirements and HR policy and principles
