What is Positive Behaviour Support?

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a therapy based service, funded through the NDIS, which aims to increase the wellbeing and quality of life of people with disabilities who experience Behaviours of Concern (BOC).

At Elcies Disability Care our NDIS registered practitioners* work closely with the individual with disability, their caregivers and support team (teachers, allied health professionals, support workers etc.) to provide collaborative and best practices strategies to address BOC.

Positive Behaviour Support can assist with:

We aim to minimise the impact of Behaviour/s of Concern on home, education and community settings.

Educating a client’s support team on Positive Behaviour Support best practice approaches and interventions to ensure positive outcomes and consistency for the person.

Empowering clients, caregivers and support teams to manage Behaviour/s of Concern as they arise and improve quality of life for individuals.
