Lutheran Care’s Family Zone is hosting its annual Family Fun Day during the Term 1 school holidays, giving parents and caregivers the opportunity to enjoy a free day out with the children in their lives.
Held at Family Zone, Ingle Farm Primary School, on Wednesday, April 16, the event aims to bring the local community together and invites people of all ages to come along.
Similar to previous events, this year’s entertainment includes a petting zoo, jumping castle, face painting, magician and a variety of family-friendly activities. Plus, we are excited to announce that we have a very special guest joining us on the day – everyone’s favourite blue heeler, Bluey!
Salisbury Rotary will be cooking the barbecue and a selection of drinks will also be available to keep everyone’s energy levels up!
Leading the planning of this year’s event is Lutheran Care’s Team Leader Families and Relationships Daniela Borg. She said the Family Fun Day is a fantastic day out for the whole family and gives attendees the opportunity to create some fun memories together.
“Last year we had more than 700 community members walk through our gates and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying a day out with their little ones,” Daniela said.
“With today’s cost of living, going out as a family can be expensive, so we hope our event can ease the financial burden during the school holidays when parents are looking for things that their children can do.
“We look forward to welcoming people of all ages from the local community on the day!”
Family Zone’s Family Fun Day will be held from 11am to 2pm on April 16. Ingle Farm Primary School is located at 2 Belalie Road, Ingle Farm.
