Early Intervention Group
Designed for children diagnosed with disability or in the process of diagnosis, this Early Intervention Group supports both children and their parents and/or carers.
Led by the Principal and Clinical Leads of our Positive Behaviour Support team, the Early Intervention Group consists of weekly two-hour sessions run over 10 weeks.

Early Intervention Group
Program Details
During sessions a practitioner and support staff work with the children in a group environment, while the Principal or Clinical Lead facilitates the parent/carer group that discusses the eight key domains that young people with autism or disability can sometimes find difficult.
The group also provides the opportunity for parents/carers to meet others who are experiencing similar challenges, while learning strategies, receiving advice and being guided by our clinical leadership team.

Topics covered will include:
- Toileting programs and troubleshooting
- Speech and language development
- Supporting children through big feelings
- Creating schedules and other visual aids
- Connection with peers and friendships.

Southern Program
- When: Wednesdays, 7 February 2024 – 10 April 2024 (weekly sessions)
- Time: 10am – 12pm
- Where: Edwardstown Baptist Church, 54C Dorene St, St Marys SA 5042
- Program Cost: $1745.90 – can be claimed through NDIS Capacity Building Supports.
