In 2021, we ran our successful Lutheran Care Gala Dinner at Adelaide Oval, which raised more than $200,000 for our Emergency Relief fund. We are looking forward to our next Gala Dinner in 2023. 

Our 2021 event came on the back of our 2019 celebration of our organisation’s 50th anniversary.

We honour and celebrate our volunteers at regular get-togethers to mark special events such as National Volunteer Week.

Our Foster Care team also runs a number of celebrations for our Foster Care families offering opportunities for them to have fun and connect. There are also regular Foster Care awareness sessions where prospective carers can find out more.

We also regularly run workshops, courses and training sessions with parents, families and Foster Carers to empower them to support children to thrive.
