The annual Family Zone Family Fun Day will be held in the Term 1 school holidays, giving local families the opportunity to experience a free day out with their little ones.
Held at Lutheran Care Family Zone (at Ingle Farm Primary School) on Wednesday, April 15, the event aims to bring the community together and invites people of all ages to come along.
Included in this year’s family-friendly line-up is a petting zoo, face painting, glitter tattoos, a magician and various activities. Plus a barbecue, drinks and ice blocks will be available for families to enjoy on the day.
There will also be stalls from local community organisations providing information on their services, including some Lutheran Care programs.
Lutheran Care’s Team Leader Families and Relationships Daniela Borg said the event was shaping up to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our Family Fun Day again this year and hope it will give people in the community a chance to get out and have some fun with the children in their lives,” she said.
“Last year was a huge success, with more than 750 community members attending. By making this event free, our hope is that we can help families create some fun memories together, especially for those where the cost of living is having a significant impact.”
Family Zone’s Family Fun Day will be held from 11am to 2pm on April 15. Ingle Farm Primary School is located at 2 Belalie Road, Ingle Farm.
Family Zone would like to thank the contributing partners for this event, The Salvation Army, Salisbury Communities for Children and the Department of Social Services.
