When Lutheran Cares partners with likeminded organisations, we can further our impact. Two of the generous and impactful businesses we’ve been fortunate to work closely with over the past few years, are McMahon Services Australia and Intract Australia.
McMahon’s is a Platinum sponsor of the Lutheran Care Gala Dinner, to be held this Saturday, 24 May at Adelaide Oval. McMahon Services Australia is a leading family-owned construction and demolition company that delivers a wide range of specialised infrastructure and environmental services across sectors such as defence, mining, energy, and transport. The McMahon family is well known for their philanthropic work which has such a great impacted the South Australian community, and we are grateful for their ongoing support for Lutheran Care.
McMahon Services partners with Intract Australia, an Indigenous owned and operated business that strives to provide meaningful Indigenous engagement in the construction industry. Intract is another valued supporter of Lutheran Care, and also a Platinum sponsor of the Gala Dinner.
Sponsorship is so important to an event like ours, as it means the funds raised through ticket sales, auctions and raffles on the night, can go directly to assisting vulnerable South Australians who need help right now, as the staging of the event is already covered.
Support from our sponsors has helped us design a first-class event, at an iconic venue, with a superb menu, top shelf beverages and live entertainment: a party with purpose so we can celebrate our generous supporters and raise money for South Australians in crisis.
To aid our fundraising efforts, McMahon Services Australia has again donated a highly prized live auction item: a fully-catered corporate box at Adelaide Oval for six people, for the winner’s choice of a Port Adelaide Power or Adelaide Crows home game.
Intract Australia has also contributed an Adelaide Football Club guernsey signed by the 2019 team, for the silent auction.
