Key members of Elcies Disability Care and Good Prospects attended the 2024 Source Kids Expo earlier this month, giving families the opportunity to learn more about our disability, speech pathology and psychology services in South Australia.
Held on 2-3 March at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the event included over 100 product and service providers, and a combination of local and national NDIS providers.
It was the first year that Elcies Disability Care attended the expo and first event for Good Prospects as part of Lutheran Care’s suite of services, since acquisition of the allied health provider in January.
Representing Lutheran Care on the day were Elcies Disability Care Positive Behaviour Support practitioners and admin staff, while Good Prospect’s Clinical Lead and a speech pathologist were also on site to offer expert advice.
With more than 200 people visiting the Elcies Disability Care and Good Prospects joint stand over the two-day event, it was a great opportunity for Lutheran Care’s staff to talk with members of the community and promote the variety of support services on offer. The team also had some exciting giveaways for attendees, including bubbles and wristbands.
The Source Kids Expo is a family friendly event and included live performances and various activity zones for children to explore and play in.
It was the second Source Kids event in Adelaide, following a hugely successful expo last year.
In good news for those looking to avoid a waitlist, Good Prospects currently has immediate capacity to take on new clients with Monday to Friday 9am-5pm appointments available now for those seeking speech pathology and or psychology services.
With a strong reputation built across a decade of allied health service provision in South Australia, Good Prospects became part of Lutheran Care in January, adding allied health to Lutheran Care’s suite of services and increased benefits to clients.
