Lutheran Care has been named one of Diversity Council Australia’s Inclusive Employers for 2025–2026, earning national recognition for its commitment to building a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.

The acknowledgement follows Lutheran Care’s participation in DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index survey, a rigorous assessment that examines how organisations are performing in key areas of diversity and inclusion. The survey benchmarks results against national standards and other DCA member organisations, with a strong focus on employees’ real experiences at work.

To be recognised as an Inclusive Employer, organisations must exceed the national benchmark in at least five out of six categories: awareness, engagement, inclusive organisational climate, inclusive leadership, inclusive teams, and low levels of exclusion. Lutheran Care met this threshold based on staff feedback, placing the organisation among a select group of Australian employers leading the way in inclusive practice.

Survey participants were also invited to share anonymous reflections about their workplace experience, providing deeper insight into the organisation’s strengths and opportunities for growth. Lutheran Care will release more detail about these findings in the coming weeks.

The DCA recognition highlights the organisation’s ongoing commitment to fostering inclusion as an essential part of delivering high-quality services to the community.
